Over 20 years’ experience split between the UK and Australia have provided Zowie with a number of opportunities to nurture and develop her skills to become the well-regarded Stylist and Educator she is today.
In the UK Zowie developed her career from an In-Salon Stylist to Education Director for the Toni&Guy Marylebone Academy in London before relocating to Melbourne and opening Zowie Evans Hairdressing.
Her attention to detail is second to none and is evident in the salon experience, skill of the team and the quality of each client’s hair. It’s this unwavering commitment to superior quality that has afforded Zowie the luxury of following her own path and seen her excel further since opening the salon in 2010.
Zowie has held education roles for Cloud Nine and Morrocanoil in addition to working with a number of leading fashion brands at Melbourne, Sydney and New York Fashion Weeks such as Chanel, Zambesi, Alex Perry and Sass & Bide.
With an ambition to pursue a new creative path, Courtney left her position as Salon Manager and joined the Zowie Evans Hairdressing team in 2014.
As a Stylist, Courtney is an all-rounder that is passionately motivated and immerses herself in all aspects of the industry. She has a thirst for education that seamlessly translates into creating beautiful healthy and wearable hair in and out of the salon.
Her passion and skill have afforded her numerous opportunities such as styling Renae Ayris (Miss Universe Australia) for Melbourne Fashion Week, and a session styling opportunity on the Lakmè 2015 Spring / Summer collection.
Courtney has also collaborated with Moroccanoil as an Educator and International Session Stylist Peter Gray as the Master of Ceremonies for his show at Hair Expo 2016.
